Top Fantasy Football RBs 2024
- Bijan Robinson
- Breece Hall
- Jonathan Taylor
- Derrick Henry
- Zamir White
- Christian McCaffrey
- Saquon Barkley
These are the guys that are primed to get a ton of work this NFL 2024 season. They have minimal committee and are going to eat a lot of volume. That being said, guys like Breece Hall can see some volume share lost to their backups like Braelon Allen.
When looking at running backs, you have to look at players who do not have a backup that can share over 50 percent of the volume. The guys we discussed here in the video have a large talent gap between them and their backup. For example, Jahmyr Gibbs was left out of this list because David Montgomery had more rushing attempts than him last year.
You must look at every angle and anticipate the worst-case scenario for your early-round RB workhorses. Gibbs is very expensive in drafts, knowing that Montgomery will take lots of volume away from him.
In contrast to Gibbs, if you look at a guy like Bijan Robinson, you know he will be the man and get a ton of volume this year without Tyler Allgeier being in the way. Tyler’s volume will decrease this year as he is the less superior RB in that backfield. Loving the talent and upside with Bijan, knowing they will increase his workload this season.
So when you look at these RBs, know that you will have to invest early to get them. That being said, there are guys that can emerge into workhorse beasts as well this season, and that will be left for a seperate episode!
In this fantasy football podcast episode, we dive into the details of these running backs and which ones we want to draft the most.
