Top 10 Fantasy Football Sleepers 2024

  1. Tyjae Spears
  2. Zamir White
  3. Khalil Shakir
  4. Romeo Doubs
  5. Christian Kirk
  6. Trey Benson
  7. Diontae Johnson
  8. Javonte Williams
  9. Najee Harris
  10. Calvin Ridley

These are the pre-NFL draft sleepers. Things may change after the draft, but these guys are in a prime position to succeed and will be set for volume and attempts for this upcoming season.

1. Tyjae Spears

Tyjae will and is the RB one in Tennessee. The Titans drafted him last year to replace Derrick Henry and drafted him in the 3rd round last year.  Two hundred eighty attempts are freed up now with Derrick Henry gone, and Tyjae is set to eat.

People keep talking about Tony Pollard, but Pollard was brought in to be the backup for this offense. Pollard was terrible last year with the Cowboys and was the starter. I am not concerned, as Tony will be the depth piece.  Tyjae is in a great situation, which will be the main one in Tennessee this year. He will also be attending the fantasy sports summit. You can get your tickets here: https://thefantasyfootballcounselor.com/fantasy-sports-summit/

Look for Tyjae to shine this upcoming 2024 season and be the main man in Tennesee. Let’s hope Will Levis handles this offense well and that Ridle and Hopkins open things up in the passing game.  Tyjae is currently sitting as RB 29, and this average draft position is rounds 7-8, which is of great value.

2. Zamir White

Zamir White is set to be the main guy in Vegas, similar to Tyjae. They brought in Mattison, but he is terrible and sucks. So he is a depth piece, and that is for sure.

There is a chance that the Raiders draft an RB, but their focus needs to be on other areas like QB and WR, as Adams is also on the decline. The way that it sits note, Zamir is primed to dominate this upcoming season. Currently sitting as RB31, this is fantastic value and a great draft steal.

If the situation and backfield stay the same way they are now, Zamir could be a draft steal and a league winner.

3. Khalil Shakir

Buffalo has no WRs, and Khalil already has a Rapport with Josh Allen. The situation is primed, but the big question is, what WR will the Bills bring in or draft? The only logical explanation is that the Bills make a move to draft a WR asap. This would be the best route and Shakir is not a true WR1 at all.

The free agents, including Tyler Boyd and Odell, are garbage now. The rookies coming in are solid, but will the Bills pull the trigger on a WR in round one?

Khalil is sitting as the WR one on the bills, but is not the long-term solution. The draft value right now is outstanding, and pre-NFL draft, you can get him in round 12 for fantasy.  This will go up or down based on the NFL draft results. It will be interesting to see where he ends up on the draft board after the dust settles.

Sometimes, you don’t have to be the best WR in the league to have great fantasy output. With Josh Allen throwing the ball, we could have a potential league winner if the volume is there for Shakir!

4. Romeo Doubs

Talk about draft value; Doubs has it! His current ADP is rounds 9-10, and we are talking about the potential WR 1 on the Green Bay Packers this 2024 NFL season.

This does look like a three-headed WR by-committee approach, but one may emerge as the one, and why can’t it be Romeo Doubs? In last year’s playoff game, when it mattered the most, he was the guy that stepped up for Jordan Love. In that playoff game, Doubs has 12 targets, 10 receptions, and 1 TD for 234 yards! If this is a sign of what will come, then he is the WR1.

You can get him in rounds 9-10, and if this ADP stays, you could have a massive draft steal!

5. Christian Kirk

Kirk is currently coming off in rounds 4-5 in drafts and is the WR one in Jacksonville. He also has that Rapport with Trevor Lawrence, who is due for a primary bounce-back season. The value and talent are there, and he should be considered to be drafted this season.

He is not the most exciting player, but you have to look at the situation and upside when you are considering drafting Kirk this season. You also have to believe that Lawerence will step up in 2024. If you don’t believe in the draft value, talent and upside, then do not draft Kirk this season. The draft value is tempting to get a WR1 that is due for a bounce back season.

6. Trey Benson

I had to throw in a rookie here, so why not add the top rookie prospect in this year’s NFL draft? Trey Benson is a beast who has speed and talent and breaks tackles better than anyone at the running back position.

There are still a ton of teams looking for a true workhorse RB. These teams include the Cowboys, Vikings, and Chargers, to name a few.  I would love to see Trey Benson on the Cowboys, as he would emerge as the main guy there.

I am also excited that I asked him to come to our fantasy sports summit. I am all about my RBs, and I am mot excited about Trey Benson for this upcoming NFL 2024 season.

I wish this young kid the best, and I hope he lands in a situation where he can be the workhorse RB on his team. I know and am certain he can be amazing and be the main man wherever he lands!

7. Diontae Johnson

He is the wide receiver in a situation where his quarterback must do well this season. Diontae lands on a terrible Panthers team but is slotted as the clear-cut WR1. Adam Theilen is there, but he is old as dirt and sucks.

Diontae has a real chance this season to see many targets in a year that Bryce Young has to step up to keep his career going. Will Young prove that he is worth his draft capital and step up, or will he have an average year and destroy the fantasy value of Diontae and other offensive players on the offense?

Johnson is currently coming off in the 7th round of fantasy football drafts, and this is great value for a true WR 1 on a young team. As long as he gets the ball and doesn’t drop it, he could really outperform his ADP in 2024.

8. Javonte Williams

Talk about a team with so many needs; the good news for Javonte is that an RB is not one of them. Javonate is in a bell-cow-type situation and will have to thrive this season. Two years removed from his knee surgery, Javonte will have to eat this year. The Broncos need a quarterback and a wide receiver, so this is great, Williams, as he is primed to get a ton of workload. The big question is, can the Broncos get the red zone so Williams can punch it in?

Javonte Williams is the RB1 on his team, and his draft position is round 6-7. This is great value for a guy who is set to be the RB on his team.

9. Najee Harris

For a guy who has been lackluster for years, he is primed for a big workload in 2024. The only thing that can hurt his value here is if the Steelers draft another RB to add to the committee.

We know that Jaylen Warren will eat this year and steal a lot of receptions, but Najee is still the workhorse on this team at the time of this article in April.

The only thing that is drawing me to Najee this year is the fact that I can get him in round 7 of fantasy football drafts. This is fantastic value, and it also carries some upside for him.  There is always the chance he has another lackluster year and Warren gets more volume, but I think Najee is trending back upwards and for the 7th RD draft value, why not grab him.

10. Calvin Ridley

It’s a new situation with exceptional fantasy football value.  Getting a solid WR in the 5th round is a tempting option. I like the opportunity in Tennessee with a young Will Levis, who has some upside and is a sleeper in his own right.

Ridley can dominate and be a top producer on the Titans if given volume. The old Hopkins is on his way out and is there as the WR two. The Titans paid Ridley a 4-year 92 million, dollar deal and will be using him for many years to come.

Levis will have to shine and show us that he is the man to not only help Ridley for fantasy but to save his career and earn that franchise QB role.

These guys are in relatively settled offenses at their designated positions but are looking for things to change and shift up.
