Practical fantasy football draft tips to help you get the edge in your draft tips.
Sometimes, well all the time you have to look past the cookie-cutter copy and past consensus rankings. You have to think outside the box and dig deeper. The Fantasy Football Counselor shares some solid tips that will give you the edge over the competition. If you do what everyone else does you will not get the edge in your leagues. These practical tips can make or break your leagues. Some of the tips in this video that are offered are aiming high on the depth chart, going robust RB, and always having a backup plan. Another solid tip the Counselor mentioned was that you should be doing a lot of mock drafts so you can see things before they happen and your favorite player doesn’t get sniped in the draft.
Going robust RB early on in the draft is probably one of the most important tips offered here because you want to load up on the most scarce position. Running backs are hard to come by in fantasy because there is only a handful that are in a minimal committee. Not only are you loading up on RB’s to give you depth but you’re also taking away the workhorses from the competition. You can always get WR 1’s after round 5 but you can’t get RB’s that are not in a committee after RD 5. Wide receiver one’s like TY Hilton, Brandin Cooks, Diggs, and Chark are all there at round 5 and beyond. If you wait on an RB, you are looking at guys like Phillip Lindsay and Jordan Howard, and no one wants those guys. Always think outside the box and you will be a happy fantasy football Champion.
