Fantasy Football Wide Receivers 2020

The Fantasy Football Counselor dives into players at the WR position you should consider. I am loving the depth at this position this year for fantasy football. You can get a ton of sleepers mid to late in your draft. You have to look at the situation the WR your considering drafting is in. I look at QB’s throwing the balls, the targets the receiver could be getting, and overall talent. Volume is crucial to the fantasy production, and you have to be careful that the WR you pick up is not going to lose volume from the fellow WR lining up with your drafted player. Don’t just follow the mainstream sheep rankings you will not success. Think outside the box and follow this #1 fantasy football podcast to get the edge over the competition.

Below is a few examples of different Wide Receiver types you get and things to think about when looking to draft a guy for 2020 fantasy football.

Stefon Diggs

The other the thing that we have to look at in regards to drafting any player is the upside. We speak about Stefon Diggs in this episode. Diggs is going into a position where he will be the clear cut guy on the Buffalo Bills. He also demands the ball and should do really well with Josh Allen. This looks like a prime situation for success for both players. You have to also be cautious that with upside you have a lot of risk and balancing out your roster with safe and upside players also plays a big factor in your wining your leagues. I speak about this in my 16 Rounds draft solution every single year.

Michael Thomas

Michael Thomas is a perfect example of a player that is considered safe to draft. The problem with Thomas is that you have to pay a lot to get him. While others are drafting him, I am loading up on running backs early on in the draft. This is a guy you must have but the question is will you invest early on. I personally will not, as running backs early on are more important to me for many reasons. Check out my fantasy football draft strategy to learn more!

Deebo Samuel

Deebo Samuel is an example of a fantasy football sleeper for 2020. He has shown flashes of greatness, but has not performed on a top 10 level. Consider drafting him in mid to later rounds. He is a upside player with some risk.

When you are looking at wide receivers make sure the wide receiver is less superior to the guy you want, and you are certain they will get the volume. Also, remember that 2020 is full of wide receiver upside and rookies coming in. Check out my Rookie Wide receiver episode here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuwh0byAuec&t=64s
