Fantasy Mock Draft for fantasy football 2020. The Counselor drafts from the 7th position and gives you a solid draft strategy for the first 6 rounds.
In this video, the Counselor walks you through the first 6 rounds of this mock draft and gives you a solid draft strategy. We continue to implement the robust RB strategy as this is the way he attacks his draft this season. Going with Josh Jacobs is ideal here at the 7th overall draft position. Then we follow up rounds 2 and 3 with Todd Gurley and David Johnson. This solidifies the first three rounds. The Counselor was comfortable with going with a 4th running back in the 4th round but David Montgomery was gone. Montgomery is primed for a big season this year and will get that volume. We missed out on David and locked in our first receiver AJ Brown. After that we looked or another ace wide receiver and got Cooper Kupp.
Whenever you draft anyone on your roster make sure that player is primed for tons of volume. Always aim high on the depth chart and don’t just draft based on a name. Draft based on talent, volume, and opportunity. This draft went really well and we were able to get the solid three running backs early on while still getting two ace wide receivers that are the #1 targets on their teams. Now we can start looking for the ace QB. In round 5 you will notice guys like Dak and Kyler come off the board and it’s up to you if you want them or wait a little longer for a guy like Matt Ryan. Either way we like to secure that ace QB as well. Guys like Lamar and Pat Mahomes would be great to have on your roster, but not worth the 2nd and 3rd round pick.
We will continue to do more mock drafts and keep you up to date as things change and ADP’s go up and down. You need to be practicing yourself to get the edge this upcoming season.
