Fantasy Football Rookie RBs that Could Boom:
- Breece Hall
- Tyler Allgeier
- Kenneth Walker
- James Cook
- Dameon Pierce
This year is not as clear–cut as last year. I would like to take full credit for seeing Najee Harris as a top-10 RB last year. He has an amazing 307 attempts and 1200 yards on the ground. The volume will continue to be there for Najee this season, but his price went up.
So the big question is who will be this year’s, Najee Harris? The simple answer is that a straight observation, of the talent that has come in, there is not one. Let’s discuss a few potential candidates.
Breece Hall
On paper, Breece Hall is the best RB in this year’s draft class. He is the one that can make a case to be the best this year. Even his name is called Breece the Beast. I am not Crazy about the Jet’s offense this year, but he is primed to be the workhorse and the volume should be there.
Now Michael Carter is still there but shouldn’t eat up too much of the volume in this offense. Breece was drafted with very high draft capital and will be used as a workhorse. I anticipate about 230 attempts on the floor, 1200 yards on the ground, and at least 12 TDs for Breece Hall this season. He is also valued in drafts and would love to grab him in the 3rd round.
If you do draft Breece Hall, make sure he is your RB 3 as part of a robust RB draft strategy. Don’t sleep up on the upside and decent value here.
I also think there is a ton of upside for guys like James Cook, and Kenneth Walker to name a few. I lay it all out in my 16 Rounds Draft solution on who to grab and what round to grab them in!
