1. Christian McCaffrey
10 Games in the past seasons is all CMC has played. He has been on the IR list far too many times in the past few years. I don’t trust him as far as I can throw him. Not to mention that the Panthers are not a very good team, to say the least. The offense is much different from when McCaffrey thrived in 2019. The mainstream fantasy football analysts will all make you think that this is the bounce-back year for CMC, but I am not paying the early rd 1 pick for a guy that is this risky.
2. Tyreek Hill
This man is Mr. Volatile when it comes to fantasy football points. Yes, he finishes with top 10 WR numbers, but that comes at a major cost of having boom-bust types of games. This year he gets a downgrade at the QB throwing him the ball with Tua. Tyreek Hill on a new offense with possible issues when it comes to him getting the volume is going to be a great concern.
3. AJ Brown
Years to wow me and I’m not wowed! The Titans are a run-first team and the volume will always be an issue with any WR that Tannehill will be throwing to. Last year the mainstream consensus has Brown in the top 10 among WRs and he busted finishing outside the top 30 in fantasy points. This year they put him back in the top 10 which is crazy and he will bust again!
4. Kyle Pitts
All Bark and no bite yet. Being the 4th overall pick in the 1st round in the 2021 draft has put up a lot of unfulfilled hype for Pitts. Marcus Mariota is not the guy that will make Kyle Pitts shine in my best opinion. Kyle Pitts is also very expensive in drafts this season. I won’t pay the price for this type of risk.
5. Dalvin Cook
Another guy who is very risky at the RB position. Dalvin Cook is a walking bust. He busted last year and he will bust again in 2022 fantasy football. He will miss games and that is a guarantee, so why risk a 1st round pick on a guy that could ruin your fantasy team? Definitely not worth a roster spot and have him ranked so high this year is also very crazy!
