Fantasy Football WR's 2020

Top Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Upside

Courtland Sutton:

When I think of wide receiver with a ton of upside, that guy is Courtland Sutton. A big bodied wide receiver with great hands and a nose for the endzone. I like the upside that he has for 2020 because he is paired with the young and talented Drew Lock. This could be a solid and winning combination. Sutton finished 19th in PPR amongst WR’s last year and this year could be a lot better. There is the discussion about the Broncos drafting another ace wide receiver to pair with Sutton, which may or may not help him for fantasy.

I am rooting to a big year out of Courtland Sutton and expecting him to expand in the 125 targets, 72 receptions and 6 TD’s from last season. I think people will still be sleeping on him. I will dive into Sutton more and where to draft him in y 16 Rounds draft kit.

Terry McLaurin:

Seeing that Terry showed flashes of greatness last season is enough to get me excited to grab him later in my fantasy football draft 2020. He finished 29th in PPR last season with 919 receiving yards 7 TD’s, 58 receptions on 93 targets. The talent is definitely there. The only question is this QB situation. It will be hard to trust Haskins and Kyle Allen. I am hoping the volume Terry gets makes up for the potentially bad QB’s throwing the ball.

DK Metcalf:

This man will be a focal point of the Seattle Seahawks offense and a big red-zone target for Russell Wilson. I am expecting a large increase in volume and targets to DK Metcalf in 2020. He had 7 TD’s, 100 Targets and 58 receptions in 2019 and I am sure that will go up. I feel the mainstream will be sleeping on this young talent. Keep him on your radar mid to late draft.

Diontae Johnson:

The upside with Johnson should be through the roof if Ben Rothlisberger comes back. Big Ben made Juju and AB both top 10 fantasy WR’s back in 2018. He can do special things with Diontae Johnson in 2020 fantasy football. He seems like the clear cut #2 wide receiver in Pittsburgh, and I don’t see James Washington taking that away. It could be an exciting season for Johnson and he is a deeper sleeper.

Deebo Samuel:

I did a whole video on Deebo Samuel and his fantasy football impact here! Check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Nx5megcFbc&t=886s. My only concern here is if Deebo will get the volume as the 49ers like to spread the ball around. Samuel has WR 3 value with major upside if the 9ers decide to use him more.
