Fantasy Football Week 1 Studs and sucks. The Counselor and the Bald Guy Recap the highlights and the low lights of week 1 fantasy football.
It was a crazy first week for a lot of first rounds in fantasy football. CMC went off as per usual and so did Josh Jacobs who outscored him in week one. There were a lot of highs and a lot of lows. I have to say after week one I felt pretty good about my teams. The mainstream is already showing they were wrong about Nick Chubb as Kareem Hunt outscored him and Nick Chubb fumbled the ball. Also, Austin Ekeler looked like a shell of his old self like I predicted. Micheal Thomas busted week one and is injured but should be back next week as well.
When it came to Qb’s the solid guys showed up and had great weeks. Aaron Rodgers had a great week and so did Matt Ryan. Both solid performances. I feel this will continue throughout the season from these seasoned vets. Lamar Jackson showed up as per usual and it was exciting to see him it the field yet again. This is why I tell you that you have to anchor your team with an ace QB. The Fantasy Points the put up will really help you dominate your leagues. An ace QB is crucial to your success in fantasy football. This week also showed that you didn’t have to draft Pat Mahomes in round 2 to dominate. Russell Wilson was the top point guy over the weekend.
I am just excited to get back to football and see these guys back on the field and fantasy league running like usual. I hope you all listened and went robust RB’s with the right RB’s early in your drafts.
