Waiver Wire Week 5 fantasy football podcast 2020. The Counselor gives you some names you might want to consider grabbing in week 5 off the waiver wire.

This week there aren’t too many names that pop out for the waive wire. You should have a solid team but there are some injuries that happened you may want to cover like Nick Chubb and Austin Ekeler. The big-name you might want to consider is D’Ernest Johnson. He came in and stepped up in Cleveland when Chubb went down. I like the upside with him. Kareem Hunt could be the guy, but it looks like the Browns like to run the committee and want to preserve Hunt for more of a pass-catching RB.

Some other names to consider are Joshua Kelley if he is still there and Justin Jackson since Ekeler went down. Austin Ekeler was never a workhorse RB and should not have been considered as a workhorse RB. Reggie Bonnafan, Ke’Shawn Vaughn are also some names that came up this week, but they are very TD dependant. Be aware of the guys that are one week wonders and address your needs with the best and most consistent players you can get you hands-on.

After the week 5 waiver wire you should really have your team set and should be good for the most part. When you draft your team from day one you should always try to get that depth on your roster and cover your bases at ll times. Depth is crucial to your success, especially at the RB position. So stay sharp on the wire and make sure you try to start the most consistent players that you have.
