The Breakdown of the top drafted rookie WRs for 2021. These guys could have a massive fantasy football impact. The Counselor breaks it down.
These are potentially the top 5 WR rookie for fantasy football 2021. Note that the teams that drafted them invested very high draft capital and should use them a lot.
- Ja’Marr Chase
- Devonta Smith
- Jaylen Waddle
- Kadarius Toney
- Elijah Moore
Honorable mentions: Rashod Bateman and Josh Palmer. There is also a ton of other WRs that could emerge this season and I will cover it all in the 16 Rounds Draft solution. This is the reason I always tell you should go robust RB. There is a ton of depth at the wide receiver position. You can wait on this position and do very well on your teams. For example last year you saw this with Justin Jefferson. He was completely slept on and the mainstream sheep didn’t even suggest you draft him. He was offered in the 8th round in my 16 Rounds draft solution. You have to think outside the box and anticipate who will break out.
How do you do that? Look at the team, roster, and depth charts to see if they will get the volume. Look at who is throwing the ball to the WR and the talent. You have to cross your T’s and Dot your I’s. This is why I do the research and make sure I have the right players on my roster and very selective on who goes on my team. You should always be very picky as well if you want to succeed and be ahead of your league mates.
This video will give you a ton of insight. Enjoy and remember to always think outside the box and there is a ton of depth at WR.
