Let’s Dive into why I love these guys so much for 2024. Note this is a nonconsensus list, and you don’t have to spend an early draft capital pick on these guys! I am saying that you can get these guys for the right price, and they will potentially finish in the top 10.
I purposely left out Christian McCaffrey because he is old, coming off a Super Bowl hangover, and will get hurt this year. He is also coming off a pinnacle year, and a decline is imminent. So do not draft!
Let’s have a quick discussion about them, but be sure to watch the podcast for the full breakdown.
1. Bijan Robinson
There is no Committee and clear-cut no 1 RB on his team. Bijan has a clear path to a high amount of fantasy football production. He is trending upwards and will see a floor of 250 attempts, ten rushing TDs, and over 1400 yards on the ground. This is the floor.
Draft his with confidence, and the sky is the limit. I love the talent, youth, and opportunity for him this season.
2. Breece Hall
Well, they call him a beast, and he will also eat this year. Being two years removed from that knee injury, I look forward to him taking on the entire workload this season.
They did draft Braleon Allen in the 4th round of the NFL draft, and I expect him to come in and give Breece a breather and come in on goalline work.

3. Saquon Barkley
There is nothing to compare to Saquon Barkley in regards to how he can do it. You have to look at least year and Swift did really decent on the Eagles.
Barkley is far superior to Swift and in a great offense. I don’t see why he doesn’t eat this year and finish in the top 5. Injury is the only thing holding him back!
4. Jonathan Taylor
He is really in a make-or-break season, where he has to crush it. The good news is that he has no competition in that backfield. The bad news is that Anthony Richardson will steal a ton of goalline work. Are you willing to pay the price and be upset near that red zone?
5. Derrick Henry
Things look good for the king. He is in a position where he is the main man in Baltimore. Again you have to compete with a QB that will run the ball a lot.
Either way, Henry will eat this season.
6. Jahmyr Gibbs
The talent is there, but will the volume be there? Montgomery is a thorn in my side and is really turning me off drafting Gibbs in 2024. He stole 219 attempts from Gibbs last year and will be coming out on the first drive every time.
Gibbs owners will be upset that they spent a first-round pick on a guy who will be the RB2 for most of the season. I love Gibbs more than anyone, but I also dislike Monty more than anyone! Will you draft Gibbs round one knowing this information?
Either way, Gibbs’ ceiling will be capped, but they can still finish in the top 10, but will lose a TON of precious points to Montsuckery!
7. Josh Jacobs
It is an excellent Position and landing spot for this man. The Packers did however draft a best in Marshawn Llyod in round three of the NFL draft. We may see a committee here. AJ Dillion is also in the backfield but he sucks and has no business being on the field at all.
Josh, if hungry gets the volume and finishes on top on a potent and well-oiled offense.
8. Kyren Williams
The upside and youth, along with talent, are all there. The problem is that they brought in a top rookie prospect in Blake Corum, who will eat. You also have to worry a bit about Kyren’s injury history, who only played 12 games last year.
I love the talent, and he’s even coming to my fantasy sports summit, but he is very expensive in drafts this 2024 season!
9. Tyjae Spears
He is the replacement of Derrick Henry, and 280 attempts are freed up with Derrick Henry gone. Also no competition in that backfield. He will eat.
10. Trey Benson
He is the top RB rookie out of this NFL draft, and he is the RB1 in Arizona. I will be drafting him everywhere I can get him.
