Football is back and the Counselor reacts to the Chiefs vs Texans match. Weighing in on the fantasy impact of David Johnson and more.
Football is back and it was exciting to get in front of a TV and watch my favorite game. I was sitting there in anticipation of kickoff and knowing that David Johnson would succeed in this game. In one league actually I have both Clyde Edwards- Helaire and David Johnson. This is something I have been anticipating since Kingbury screwed David Johnson out of the starting job. The wait was over. David Johnson produced as advertised by myself and him and I rested assured that my analysis on his was correct. I was very impressed as well with CEH’s performance in game one as well. Aside from him pounding the ball in near the goal line you can’t really say anything bad about the young man. At the end of the game, David Johnson outscored CEH by .1 point in PPR.
As far as the game went, I really didn’t care if the Texans were being blown out. I just wanted to watch football. I love the back and forth chess match and experience of the game. In this video we break down our thoughts and what the near future holds for both the Texans and Chiefs. Pat Mahomes was clearly the better QB here and that showed on the field. Watson looks like he will need to get his receivers in sync with him and they have to find a solution for Hopkins being gone.
The results of the game didn’t really matter to me. All that mattered was that we got to watch football again, and I am sure we are all grateful for that.
