These Rookies will breakouts for 2025!
Fantasy football is back — and if you’re serious about winning your league in 2025, it’s time to lock in your rookie targets early. This year’s rookie class is packed with explosive talent, and several of them are sitting at insane value in early drafts.
In this article, we break down 5 must-draft rookies that are in prime positions to dominate early and potentially win you your league. Whether you’re drafting redraft, dynasty, or best ball, these are players that must be on your radar
1. Ashton Jeanty (RB – Raiders)
Height/Weight: 5’8″, 211 lbs
College Stats (2024): 374 carries, 2,061 yards, 7.0 YPC, 29 TDs
ADP: RB4
Ashton Jeanty enters the NFL with true workhorse traits and lands in a perfect opportunity in Las Vegas. The Raiders, desperate for a legitimate RB1 after failed experiments with Zamir White and Alexander Mattison, are expected to lean heavily on Jeanty.
He has it all: 4.4 speed, tackle-shedding ability, elite burst, and hands to catch passes out of the backfield. In a time where most teams use committees, Jeanty is a rare breed.
Why You Must Draft Him: Workhorse role, elite volume potential, top-tier talent. He’s already cracked the top 12 ADP and will likely settle as a mid-to-late first-round pick by August.
2. RJ Harvey (RB – Broncos)
Height/Weight: 5’8″, 205 lbs
College Stats (2024): 232 carries, 1,576 yards, 6.8 YPC, 22 rushing TDs, 3 receiving TDs
ADP: RB28 (Value pick but ADP will rise fast!)
Harvey is being criminally undervalued early in drafts. Denver has cycled through mediocrity in its backfield for years, and Harvey could be the solution. With elite vision, burst, and lateral quickness, Harvey has the traits of a star.
Denver ran the ball over 350 times last year with SIX different backs. Harvey is stepping into a situation where he could consolidate that workload and emerge as a top-15 RB with the volume to match.
Why You Must Draft Him: He’s a Gibbs-level athlete with fewer roadblocks. You can get him in rounds 6–8 now, but expect that to rise to the 3rd–4th round by August.

3. Jack Bech (WR – Raiders)
Height/Weight: 6’2″, 207 lbs
College Production (2024): 1,004 receiving yards, 8 TDs
ADP: WR63 (Round 13+)
Another Raiders rookie makes the list. Jack Bech has the drive, story, and dog mentality that fantasy managers dream of. He’s strong after the catch, fights through defenders, and could easily become the WR1 in Vegas.
With Geno Smith under center, Brock Bowers drawing defensive attention, and Jeanty in the backfield, Bech could feast on single coverage all year.
Why You Must Draft Him: He’s being drafted in the 13th round but could lead his team in targets. That’s a league-winning value.
4. Tre Harris (WR – Chargers)
Height/Weight: 6’2″, 210 lbs
Draft Capital: Day 2 pick
ADP: WR59 (13th Round)
The Chargers lost Keenan Allen and didn’t bring in a clear veteran replacement. Enter Tre Harris, a physical outside receiver with natural hands and red-zone upside.
Ladd McConkey might line up in the slot, but Harris has a chance to be Justin Herbert’s new go-to guy on the boundary. With no clear WR1 on the team, Harris has every opportunity to rise.
Why You Must Draft Him: He’s basically free right now but could be a top 30 WR by season’s end. Take him late before the hype grows.
5. Kaleb Johnson (RB – Steelers)
Height/Weight: 6’1″, 224 lbs
40 Time: 4.6 (Game speed is better)
ADP: RB30 (Round 9+)
The Steelers moved on from Najee Harris and drafted Kaleb Johnson, a powerful, NFL-ready back with elite production and vision. Despite his average 40 time, Johnson has shown big-play ability in college and earned praise from Mi

ke Tomlin.
Pittsburgh ran the ball 426 times last year. Najee got 263 of those carries despite poor efficiency. If Johnson inherits that work, he could be a top-10 RB by volume alone.
Why You Must Draft Him: He’s everything Najee wasn’t — decisive, strong, and motivated. His ADP is still low, but not for long.
Final Thoughts
If you want to win your 2025 fantasy league, you need to get ahead of the curve. These 5 rookies are in golden positions — and while the mainstream is sleeping on them, you have a chance to draft them at huge value.
Don’t wait until August when the hype catches up. Target these names in every draft format.
