Fantasy Football Week 3 Studs and sucks. The Counselor and the Bald Guy Recaps week 3 highlights and awards the sucks of the week.
What a crazy week 3 for fantasy football. Some surprises for sure. There were some players that really sucked and some guys that were studs. We cover all these guys and award the sucks of the week.
Guys that had a great week 2 came in and crapped the bed in week 3. This cannot be controlled at times. A perfect example of this is Leonard Fournette who scored 27 points in week 2 and did nothing in week 3. This is the uncertainty of matchups. Strength of matchups vs position does make a big difference when you start or sit a player, but sometimes it just doesn’t matter at all. You have to look at all variables and sometimes we do and you still get screwed that week.
In this video, I mention that I benched Justin Jefferson and Jimmy Graham and started Mike Gesicki and TY Hilton. That was the logical thing to do. It would sound crazy to start Jefferson after he was getting minimal targets the week before. Leaving these points on the bench really hurts me but I know I still have good talent on the bench which is a great sign. The consistency of fantasy football has definitely gone down. There is too many up and down weeks from players and it makes things tougher for the year-long player.
