Fantasy Football Mock draft from the 11th Position. The Counselor giving you a solid foundation for your draft this weekend.
The 11th position is one of my favorites. I like that you can literally almost go back to back picks. This is where I really like going Jacobs and Gurley back to back. I still want to stand by the robust RB strategy. You can look at guys like Julio Jones here and then come back and get Gurley in rd 2. But if you do go with a wide receiver in the first or second round be sure to go with RB’s in round 3 and 4. I like the robust RB strategy but it is nice to implement a WR when I can.
If you go back to back WR in one and two you could be in trouble as it will get really thin at RB and you won’t be able to secure a workhorse RB. You may be able to get a David Johnson in 3 and 4 but I personally like him as my RB 3-4. Load up on those running backs early for sure. I have seen studs like Kenny Golladay fall to as early in the third round but other than that I don’t really care for 3rd round wide receivers. Odell is a waste of a pick as he has done nothing for three years. I just feel safer drafting RB’s that are sure to be the workhorse back and will get the volume. Leonard Fournette can be considered in the 3rd round as well after you go back to in the first 2 rounds. It all comes down to who will fall back to you.
