3 Boom Fantasy Football RBs to target in 2022. The Fantasy Football Counselor lays out some studs at the running backs to consider with major upside. Here are just three names mentioned in this video:

1. Javonte Williams

Young and talented Javonte should and could be the full workhorse running back in 2022 for the Denver Broncos. Having over 177 attempts and averaging 4.7 YPC with 15 games shows a lot of upside. The Only hindrance is the presence of Melvin Gordon. Melvin Gordon needs to be traded and shipped off because he sucks and has had years to wow us and we are not wowed. Just a side note, Melvin has had only 1 1000 yard plus rushing season. This is really unacceptable and he is not a true RB1.

I am looking for Javonte Williams to be a rock-solid RB 2 if Melvin Gordon stays in Denver, and a TOP 5 Fantasy RB in points if Gordon leaves.

2. AJ Dillon

Without a doubt, AJ Dillon can be a workhorse RB and can lead the charge in Green Bay. Aaron Jones, who has struggled with injuries over the years is the pest in the situation. If Aaron Jones goes away, look for AJ Dillon to get a workhorse load and easily be a top 10 fantasy RB.

3. Derrick Henry

While this one seems obvious, I think many people will sleep on Henry in the top 5 picks. The mainstream sheep will push Jonathan Taylor as the first overall and Henry may fall to the 4-5th pick in the first round of the 2022 draft. This is because coming off an injury creates panic and fear in the hearts of drafters. Except me of course.

All of this will all come together as it usually does after the 2022 NFL draft. We will find out who is who and how the depth charts all fall in together nicely.
