1. Caleb Williams

Caleb Williams, a standout quarterback, has significantly influenced the college football scene. Standing at 6’1″ and weighing 215 pounds, Williams combines a compact and muscular build with an athletic prowess that’s rare for players in his position. His college stats are a testament to his versatility and skill. Over his collegiate career, he has thrown for thousands of yards, showcasing his arm strength and accuracy while also demonstrating his ability to extend plays with his legs, rushing for several hundred yards and multiple touchdowns.

He can be an instant fantasy football producer out of the gate, but when I am looking at QBs, I look for proven guys who have been in the league for a while as my ace starter.  Caleb could prove to be a great backup for fantasy this season, with some upside due to his rushing upside.

2. Marvin Harrison Jr

Harrison’s football pedigree is well-documented, being the son of NFL Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison, and it’s clear he has inherited and honed his own unique set of skills. His production in college, especially in crucial moments and big games, speaks to his readiness for the next level. His statistics from the latest season would provide a clear picture of his growth and impact on the field—1211 Yard receiving, combined with 14 TDs.

However, like any young player, there’s always room for growth. Focus points include improvements in areas such as after-the-catch elusiveness and refining his physicality against press coverage. Nevertheless, Harrison Jr.’s ceiling is considered extremely high, with many projecting him to be an impactful player at the professional level. His size, skill, and football intelligence make him one of the most exciting prospects to watch. Remember that as good as he is, he will be limited to the upside based on the throwing quarterback. A good QB, and we have a winner here.

3. Malik Nabers

We have a fantasy football stud if he lands on the Chargers if he is paired up with Justin Herbert.

Malik Nabers, standing at an athletic 6’0″ and weighing approximately 190 pounds, has quickly emerged as a key player in his college football team’s offensive lineup. His college career has been marked by significant contributions in receptions, yards, and touchdowns, highlighting his ability to be a consistent and reliable target on the field. Nabers possesses a good blend of speed and agility, which, combined with his solid frame, makes him an intriguing prospect for scouts and coaches alike.

Additionally, Nabers has shown a commendable work ethic and a keen understanding of the game, which bode well for his transition to the professional level. His ability to read defenses and adjust his routes accordingly has been praised, and his competitive nature and determination on the field have made him a standout player during his college tenure.

Fantasy football upside is big here, as he will also be the WR1 on whatever team he lands on.

4. Rome Odunze

Another top WR prospect coming out of the draft that will give us some fantasy football production right out of the gate. He has great numbers in 2023. 92 receptions, 1640 yards receiving, and 13 TDs.  He is 6’3. 200 lbs and has a strong frame.

In terms of playing ability, Odunze’s size and athleticism are among his greatest assets. He uses his frame effectively to box out defenders and possesses the leaping ability to win contested catches. While not elite, his speed is more than adequate for his size, allowing him to create separation on deep routes. Furthermore, his hands are reliable, making him dependable in critical situations.

I love the talent here and am excited to see where he lands. The future is bright for Rome Odunze.

5. Drake Maye

Drake Maye, standing at 6’4″ and weighing 232 pounds, has made a significant impact as the quarterback for North Carolina. Throughout his college career, Maye demonstrated exceptional skills and stats, showcasing his potential for the professional level. His college statistics reveal a promising trajectory, with a completion percentage of 64.9% across 30 games. He threw for a total of 8,018 yards, 63 touchdowns, and only 16 interceptions while also contributing significantly on the ground with 1,209 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns.

I see him landing on the Vikings this upcoming season. He could be special talent for fantasy as he boosts a great WR core with Addison and Jefferson.

6. Brock Bowers

Brock Bowers, a standout tight end from Georgia, has established himself as one of the most dynamic play makers in college football. Standing at 6’4″ and weighing 240 pounds, Bowers has been a key player in Georgia’s offense, showcasing exceptional athleticism and versatility. His draft profile indicates he’s well-equipped for a promising NFL career, given his well-built frame, explosive athleticism, and reliable hands, making him a nightmare for defenders and a top prospect for the 2024 NFL Draft.

He will stand out as a top wide receiver on whatever team he lands on and be a matchup nightmare. He could be the top tight end in fantasy, predicated on where he lands. This is a pick I will be watching closely in the draft, and you should, too!

I am excited about Trey Benson for 2024! (Photo by David Jensen/Icon Sportswire)

7. Trey Benson

Trey Benson, a running back for the Florida State Seminoles, has demonstrated remarkable resilience and skill on the football field. Standing at 6’1″ and weighing 221 pounds, Benson has a powerful build that he’s utilized effectively in his college career. After overcoming a major knee injury that sidelined him during his time at Oregon, Benson transferred to Florida State, where he became a key player. In the 2022 season, he impressed with 990 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 154 carries, and in 2023, despite playing in only four games, he managed 189 rushing yards and four touchdowns.

Benson’s athletic profile is compelling, highlighted by his explosive speed, evident in his amazing 4.39 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. He’s known for his dense build, quick footwork, and the ability to absorb and break tackles with ease. His aggressive style and vision on the field allow him to find and exploit openings effectively, making him a formidable opponent in space.

I love Trey this season, and he is the #1 RB prospect out of the NFL draft. I am hoping he lands on the Cowboys, as that is the best spot for him to go.

8. Brian Thomas Jr

Brian Thomas Jr. emerged as one of the most explosive talents in college football during his time at LSU, especially shining in the 2023 season. Standing at 6’4″ and weighing 205 pounds, Thomas was an amazing presence on the field, combining his physical attributes with impressive athletic ability. As a junior, he caught 68 passes for 1,177 yards, averaging 17.3 yards per catch, and led all FBS receivers with 17 touchdowns.

The talent is there. The question will be how this will translate to fantasy production. Being drafted after round one, could last him on a winning team.

9. Adonai Mitchell

Adonai Mitchell, a 6’2″ wide receiver weighing 205 pounds, transitioned from Georgia to Texas for his collegiate football career. His college stats reveal significant contributions, notably leading the FBS with 17 receiving touchdowns in 2023. Scouts highlighted his explosive playmaking ability, impressive size-speed combo, and knack for securing contested catches. Despite this, areas for development include route-running precision and consistency in play toughness.

10. Blake Corum

Blake Corum, is a senior running back from Michigan, stands at 5’8″ and weighs 213 pounds. His college career had significant productivity, drawing comparisons to Doug Martin for his energy and physicality. Corum amassed over 1,000 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns in his 2023 year, demonstrating exceptional burst, vision, and agility. Despite not having breakaway speed, his strengths as a versatile runner with superb contact balance and creativity in maneuvering through defenses make him a top prospect.

I see him landing on the Chargers and being a fantasy football machine!
