Here are just a few. We linked a full video below with more information and a deep dive into these tight ends.
So missed out on Travis Kelce and you ask yourself what you do next? You have to get the right value later and double up on tight ends. Also, remember to aim high on the depth charts and get as many volume getters as you possibly can.
You also have to look at who is throwing the ball to them. Try to look for QBs that may target the tight end ofter and in the red zone. You can see there is a ton of value at the tight end position after watching this podcast.
When to target a fantasy football tight end in drafts:
It is best to always wait on the Tight end to mid and later rounds. You want to be going robust RB in the early rounds and securing the running backs with minimal committees early on. You can find the value at the tight end position later.
The truth is there are really like 4-5 really good tight ends and then after that, there is a significant drop-off in value and points. So if you miss out on a TE early or decide to pass for a more scarce RB, then you will be fine later as you just need to relax as there is a ton of value. The key is that your TE gives you at least about 10 points PPR a game and holds their position. You don’t need a ton of points out of them. That’s the job of your WRs RB’s and QB.
I look at TE points as bonus points.
