Fantasy football mock draft 2020 grading and analysis by the Counselor. Joseph Robert grades the Bald Guy’s mock draft and dives into a fantasy football draft strategy.
In this video, the Fantasy Football Counselor breaks down a mock draft that was completed by the Bald guy and gives a grade of C+. One of the problems with Tim the Bald guys draft was that he drafted Michael Thomas in the 1st round. First of all, this was a bad start to everything as you need to secure a solid running back with a minimal committee. Then we run into other problems with Tim drafting Miles Sanders in the 2nd round. While I love Sanders at the time of this article you have to understand that the Eagles want to add another RB in the mix. This will hurt the value of Miles and lower his ADP. After this pick, Tim redeemed himself and went with the robust RB strategy, drafting Leonard Fournette in the 3rd and David Johnson in the fourth. This should add some depth to his roster at the RB position.
Other problems starting to occur in this mock draft when Tim selected Marvin Jones and Anthony Miller as his top WR’s. These guys are WR twos and don’t have the upside. He could have easily got DJ Chark at one point and passed up on him. The choice-making is not up to the Fantasy Football Counselor’s standards. When it came to QB’s Tim did a lot better and was actually able to secure Matt Ryan in the 9th round. Usually, we see Ryan coming off in the 7th in a 12 person 1 pt PPR league, so this was great value. He was also able to secure Phillip Rivers with the very last pick which is also great value for a back up with upside.
Overall this was not up to the Counselor’s standards but Tim did just okay and earned himself a C Plus draft grade.
