TOP 5 Must-Have Fantasy Football Players 2023
- Josh Allen
- Bijan Robinson
- Najee Harris
- Amon-Ra St Brown
- Garrett Wilson
These 5 players are primed for another great and solid season. Fantasy football upside and security are there when we look at these NFL fantasy players. Let’s talk about each one and the reasons why you must draft them
Josh Allen
I am one that usually waits on QBs, but I am really tempted to secure a Josh Allen or Jalen Hurts earlier this season. The fact that you can anchor your team with guaranteed points seems like a no-brainer to me. This year you can grab an RB one a little later and don’t have to invest a second-round pick on them, so it’s tempting to grab Josh Allen in round 2 in a one QB league.
He is expensive but worth it if you are guaranteeing 25 points each week at least. Sign me up for that. This year there is a lot of uncertainty at the QB position with the young QBs coming in. So secure and solid QBs are going to be few and far between. We need to lock them earlier on ig you can. I explain exactly how to go about drafting the optimal roster in the 16 Rounds draft solution. You can secure that here: 16 Rounds Draft Solution.
Bijan Robinson
We are talking about youth, talent, and opportunity. Bijan has that all. He has the power, speed, and cutting ability to make him a superstar in the NFL. The Falcons invested in the 1st round. 8th pick overall on him and they will use him.
I actually like drafting Bijan ahead of guys like Austin Ekeler and CMC this year. He is younger and has more upside. While the others are due for a major decline this season. Sign me up for Bijan anywhere I can get him, as I am super excited about what he does on the field. The sky is really the limit here.
Najee Harris
The value is massive this year with Najee Harris. I cannot express the upside that is there for this guy who is due for a contract in the near future. He really has to prove his worth and the Steelers have set him up for major success this season. The Steelers just drafted Broderick Jones in the first round with their 1st pick. He was one of the top OL prospects out of the 2023 NFL draft.
Improving the o-line really shows that they are looking to open things up for Najee and also allow for more protection for Kenny Pickett, who is due to take a step up this season. Look for Najee to finish top 5 again in fantasy football like he did back in 2021.
Amon-Ra St Brown
St Brown is going to continue to be consistent this season. The Consheepsus have caught on to him now and he has made the top 10 rankings, unfortunately. He won’t be slept on this season and you will have to pay a lot to get him. He is the clear-cut WR1 there as Williams who is entering his 2nd year is facing a suspension this season due to betting on games.
I may grab Amon-Ra if the value is there, but most likely I will miss out and end up going running back at the St. Brown ADP. Either way, if you want a safe early-round WR, then look no further than Amon-ra St. Brown.
Garrett Wilson
More sky is the limit talk when you are looking at Garrett Wilson who is primed to have a great season. Wilson had a safe year last year with medicore QBs in Zazh Wilson and Mike White. Now he gets an upgrade with Aaron Rodgers. Look for him to finish top 5 among the WRs if Rodgers gets his act together in NY.
