Here are some Running backs that could bounce back in 2020 fantasy football. Be sure to target them in your fantasy football draft this upcoming season!
Fantasy Football RB’s 2020 – Potential Bounce Back Players
- Todd Gurley
- David Johnson
- Kareem Hunt
- David Montgomery
- Melvin Gordon
- James Connor
Todd Gurley
Gurley is now on the Atlanta Falcons and the upside is there for him in 2020 fantasy football. Last season Gurley finished 14th in PPR amongst Running backs and he wasn’t utilized until mid to late season. The Rams last year were trying to preserve Gurley and realized the needed to use him from the beginning of the season. The Falcons won’t make that mistake, as they really need to move fast to win a Superbowl and will use Gurley and their weapons to maximum potential. Look for Todd to expand on his 12 Td’s, and 857 rushing yards from last year.
David Johnson
There is a lot of negative talk about David Johnson, after being sidelined by the Arizona Cardinals. I believe with certainty that Johnson a beast and will have a major fantasy football bounce back this upcoming season. The talent and drive is there for him to succeed. I have him higher in my fantasy football rankings than most, and he will get the volume. Carlos Hyde, who isn’t even half as good as David got over 1000 yards rushing and 245 attempts last season. In 2020 David Johnson will eat!
Kareem Hunt
Everyone is on the Nick Chubb train and will be sleeping on Kareem Hunt in 2020 fantasy football. Yes, Chubb had a great year but he will decline. Kareem Hunt outscored Nick Chubb in the last 8 weeks of the 2019 season 6-2. Kareem had more fantasy points than Chubb in those last 8 games in PPR. Yet the mainstream continues to be high on Chubb because of a good season last year. I am not saying to draft either one of these guys, but just be careful in investing too early of a pick on Chubb if Kareem stays on the team.
Honorable mentions that could bounce back:
Make sure you keep these three guys on your radar. David Montgomery, Melvin Gordon, and James Conner. These guys come with a lot of risk going into the fantasy football 2020 season but have the upside.
