5 QB’s you must draft for fantasy football 2020. The Counselor gives you 5 gems he loves this season.
So many people are drafting Lamar and Pat Mahomes really early on is their drafts, but I am here to tell you that you can wait on a QB. There is a ton of value in rounds 6 and 7. You can get yourself a Matt Ryan or Russell Wilson to name a few players. You don’t want to be investing in QB’s early on because you can get solid RB’s with minimal committee’s early on. You want to load up on the RB position because it is the most scarce.
You also have to look at whatever goes up must come down. Lamar Jackson had over 1200 rushing yards and 176 attempts. This is very hard to duplicate and I doubt he will do it again. Stay away from players coming off of record years as the same numbers are very hard to achieve over and over again. A second-round pick is way too expensive to invest in a guy that will decline based on what we have seen historically.
Also, remember to always get a backup QB. The reason I do that is that you need to have a backup QB to cover your starter, by weeks, and potential lack of performance. It’s all about having a backup plan for a backup plan. There are a ton of sleepers this year that the mainstream sheep are sleeping on. Guys like Drew Lock, Philip Rivers, and Big Ben are all sleepers this season. Just don’t invest too early in a position where there is a lot of depth. Load up on those RB’s.
