Let’s Dive into each player and explain why they are going to be potential busts!

1. Cooper Kupp

Cooper Kupp is coming off the biggest year of his life. Record numbers of 191 targets, 145 receptions, 1947 receiving yards, and 16 touchdowns were amazing. The problem is that everyone has him ranked number one among WRs and we all know that a decline is coming. The fact that he has to be drafted in the first round is too expensive for me considering I got him in the 4th round last year. This is a guy coming off a Super Bowl hangover and there is no way he will hit these numbers again. People and the mainstream have him ranked high simply predicated on last year’s numbers. If you follow the heard and draft based on last year, you will fail. Players decline or get hurt after peak seasons and that will happen again with Cooper Kupp. His numbers from last year are not sustainable at all.

Cooper Kupp is coming off a record season. Decline Imminent!

2. Christian McCaffrey

All I have to say about this guy is that he has only played 10 games in the past two seasons. Christian McCaffrey just can’t stay healthy and I believe he is past his prime. He is currently ranked number 2 on the consensus rankings and that is way too high on a guy who just is not the same person he was 3 years ago. I agree that the talent is there, along with the potential workload. The Team and offense are not different and things change.

3. Josh Allen

He is popular and well known now and for that reason alone I will not draft Josh Allen. I use to like getting him in rounds 5-6 when everyone was sleeping on him and his ADP will be too high for me to consider him. There was a time when people actually thought that Baker Mayfield was better than him. Josh Allen has proven haters wrong and proved he can be an elite QB. If you want him for fantasy you will have to pay a second-round draft pick and I will not be doing that. You can get value at QB this year after round 5 and that is exactly what I will be doing.

CMC has only played 10 games in the past 2 seasons

4. Dalvin Cook

Dalvin Cook has never finished a season in his entire life and the 2022 NFL season won’t be any different. I will be dodging Cook in all drafts yet again. Last year he was a first-round draft pick and busted based on that ADP. Cook finished 16th among RBs in PPR last season and his numbers overall continue to decline. This man cannot be trusted to be on your fantasy football teams. I would never touch him or draft him on any of my rosters. You are better off getting a better 1st Round RB like Najee Harris or Derrick Henry. No one should ever be telling you to draft Dalvin Cook.

This is not about if Cook will miss games. It is about which games Cook will actually miss. It may be your fantasy football championships of a few games during the season. Just like the morning will come, Dalvin Cook will get hurt and he is well past his prime. I am not expecting anything sensational coming out of Dalvin Cook for the NFL 2022 season or beyond. Do not draft his player and avoid him at all costs.

5. Deebo Samuel

This man is a WR and had 8 Touchdowns last season. This is not sustainable, to say the least, and he will decline off his amazing pinnacle season. 2022 will look different for the 49ers with Elijah Mitchell coming back and if healthy he should be the main guy running the ball in the end-zone. I am not surprised to see Deebo Samuel ranked so high by the mainstream sheep. They had Ayiuk ahead of him last year and all of a sudden now they are all over Deebo?

I really like Deebo but won’t be investing a 1st- 2nd round pick on him. I liked him better when everyone was drafting him in the 8th round.

6. Saquon Barkley

This is Tim the Bald Guys player to avoid and I actually disagree. Saquon Barkley will be slept on this season due to his lack of performances over the past few years. Injuries played a factor and he really has no excuses. The reason I actually think he could boom or bust is that he is now fully recovered from his knee injury. It sometimes takes a few years to get back in the groove.

The Giants are also showing that they want to keep him this upcoming season and will draft O-line help to protect him and build around him. The coaching staff has also said they want to implement him more in the passing game in 2022. Last year, they were running Booker because they wanted to preserve Barkley for the 2022 season. While you may want to consider avoiding him in 2022 fantasy football, he could actually boom this season. This is literally a make-or-break season for Barkley and his entire future in the NFL.

Saquon Barkley

Barkley Could Bounce back but is an injury risk!

7. Davante Adams

New team. New QB. Less volume. This avoidance of Adams this year has nothing to do with his talent level and everything to do with the potential lack of volume he may see this season. While he did have some rapport with Derek Carr in the past, I see things being different this upcoming season.

Last year Renfrow was the top WR peaking with 128 targets. Renfrow is set to return and so is Waller. Waller peaked at 145 targets in the 2020 season. How is Adams going to thrive with both Waller and Renfrow in the mix and Josh Jacobs getting his share of passes?  Adams thrived in Green Bay because he got a lot of value from Aaron Rodgers (169 Targets) last year.  I like Adams but will not be drafting him at his current ADP of round 1 or 2.

8. Nick Chubb

Years to wow me and I am not wowed. This man busted several years in a row and shares a backfield with the more talented Kareem Hunt. Watson is there now and we are talking about a totally new offense. He is no good at PPR and will never really shine like he did that one year a few years ago. The mainstream is a little lower on his this year, rankings him 12th among RBs. This is a shocker because he was top 5 for them for the past several years. Looks like they woke up to what I have been seeing the whole time. Chubb is overrated and in a committee.

9. Tyreek Hill

Nick Chubb Fantasy Football

Chubb is overrated and won’t draft him.

Tyreek was a volatile Fantasy Football WR, to begin with, and now he is with a suspect QB. I don’t trust him, Tua, or the Dolphins. He will also share the field with a very talented Jaylen Waddle. I have too many question marks to draft someone in the 2nd round that is suspect like Tyreek Hill is in 2022. I am going to avoid drafting him as he will bust this year.

10. AJ Brown

How the mainstream put AJ Brown in the top 10 again is beyond me! He sucks and finished 32nd last year among WRs in PPR. Ryan Tannehill does not throw that much on their run-first offense. The addition of Robert Woods doesn’t help his case as well. I am avoiding Brown again!
